Dr. Bijan Cohenmehr is the founder and driving force behind Cohenmehr Optometry, bringing 38 years of dedicated experience to West Los Angeles. A proud graduate of SUNY College of Optometry in 1986, Dr. Cohenmehr has built his career and reputation on two key principles: trust and honesty. These values are the foundation upon which he has established long-lasting relationships with his patients, many of whom have been returning to his care for over three decades.

Specializing in dry eye treatment, Dr. Cohenmehr's commitment to this area is deeply personal—his wife’s struggle with dry eye has fueled his passion for finding the most effective solutions. At Cohenmehr Optometry, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy stands out as the most popular and effective treatment, but it is just one of many therapies available. Dr. Kevin Cohenmehr, OD

Dr. Kevin Cohenmehr is a proud member of the dedicated team of optometrists at Cohenmehr Optometry. After completing his undergraduate education at UCLA, Dr. Kevin Cohenmehr earned his degree from SUNY College of Optometry.

He focuses on medical eye care and vision therapy, with a professional emphasis on managing glaucoma, co-managing diabetic eye care, and addressing macular degeneration. Dr. Kevin Cohenmehr also has extensive experience with common eye conditions such as dry eye syndrome, cataracts, and ocular infections.

His strong passion for vision therapy is particularly evident in his work with children, including those with disabilities. Dr. Kevin Cohenmehr is committed to helping young patients overcome visual challenges that can affect their learning and development. Dr. Brandon Cohenmehr, OD

A remarkable graduate of SUNY College of Optometry, Brandon made history as the youngest optometrist to ever graduate from the institution, all while achieving the distinction of being at the top of his class.

Brandon’s professional emphasis includes specialty contact lenses, with a focus on Ortho-K, Scleral lenses, and co-managing patients with keratoconus and other corneal disease. He is particularly passionate about treating ocular symptoms of Bell’s palsy and Facial palsies with custom-designed specialty lenses, working closely with labs to create personalized solutions for his patients. His expertise also extends to medical eye care, where he is dedicated to managing a wide range of eye health issues.

Beyond his professional achievements, Brandon is also an accomplished pianist and violinist. In his youth, he won numerous scholarships for his musical talents and continues to compose music in his free time. These hobbies keep him grounded and inspired, fueling his dedication to providing top-tier care to his future patients.
